Hand-Made Eyelet Tutorial – Free PDF Download
$0.00
Description
Eyelets are perhaps the most common means of creating fastenings in historical garments. They are used for making points on pants and doublets, for tie closure openings, and my personal favorite as the opening for looping over a stud (pictured in the featured image).
I’ve created a simple but photographically illustrated PDF tutorial (you’ll need a PDF reader to view this!) on how I created eyelets for all of the historical clothing that I make. There are actually many ways to make eyelets, and this is the one that I have found works best for me and holds up the best in the long run — even after being used with thick leather ties over the course of years of hard wear.
The PDF is printed in booklet format, with 2 pages of instructions on a single sheet of landscape paper. It is in full-color, but you can print it as black-white without any problem. Since this is free, I kindly ask that you not share it but rather have any friends download it for themselves. This helps me keep track of how popular something is, so that I can give you more the popular stuff.
If you found the information useful, feel free to place a review here and share it on your Facebook so others can find it too. Also Like or Follow my Facebook page to be updated when new products, events and posts are added.
